Ours is a story of new beginnings, hope and the exciting potential of the new futures and ideas that are born in our hospitals. We are the first chapter in the autobiographies of thousands of lives and the new, inspiring volume for those receiving our life saving and life changing care.
We are a national leader in highly specialised paediatric and women’s healthcare leading the way in cardiac surgery, rare diseases, fetal medicine and transplant surgery.
Regionally we provide care for complex conditions such as cystic fibrosis, neonatal intensive care, complex maternity, fertility and paediatric surgery.
We’ve achieved so much and are rightly proud of what our teams do each and every day but we’re reaching the end of this part of our story and we’re ready to build on the foundations of compassionate care and clinical excellence that we stand on.
Our current sites are holding us back but we’re ready to push boundaries, ready to build a future that meets the needs of the thousands of lives we care for and unleash the ambition within our amazing teams.
The Big Build is ready to deliver more theatres, more inpatient beds, more cutting edge diagnostic and imaging technologies, a new home for our Emergency Department, more birthing rooms and paediatric and neonatal intensive care capacity.
Ready to provide innovation and incubator space to realise the research opportunities available through our world leading experts and academic and commercial partners.
